Alan came in to 12 Labours after taking a break from CrossFit. He told Coach Jared, “I think I can break some state records, so I’d like to start lifting again.” One year later, Alan placed 2nd in his division and broke two state records. Have a vision. Put in the work to get there. Then keep moving.
The happiest of birthday shoutout to the bday twins and CrossFit OG’s Ryan and Shannon. Ryan continues to build athletes in group classes and on the competition floor, while building the 12L community. Shannon is a trusted coach and friend who firmly believes that the pinnacle of fitness is a lot of effort but also a lot more fun. Enjoy your day and thanks for all that you do!
“I’ve been an athlete my whole life but coming from two ACL surgeries, the second which being quite painful and tough to rehab, I came to 12 Labours knowing my limitations and concerns. The coaches have been able to address any issues and tailor each workout to help me get better and stronger. They truly care about me succeeding at CrossFit. It’s not about going through the motions. They take the time to explain how I can get better. It’s hard for me to put into words how much this really means to me, and makes me a little emotional to think about it. And that’s really the whole goal of joining a box, and becoming a member of that family, isn’t it? To encourage each other and make each other better than we were the day before.” – Amanda B. Keep moving. #CrossFit
